Industry Professionals

Since our guests and instructors are preeminent industry professionals, there are occasional postponements, substitutions, and/or cancellations.  We do not take responsibility for such schedule changes since they are out of our control. In the event of such schedule changes, we do our best to reschedule or replace a guest with an equal-level guest from the same or similar office, but cannot guarantee any such replacement. Industry Professionals reserve the right to change the time of their class, prep meetings, or anything else in regards to the class. If that happens we will notify you via email as soon as we find out about the change. Sometimes the class might end early if the capacity of students didn’t reach the full amount. This will not be considered a cancellation, and will not be applicable for a class credit.

The Action Collective offers its services as a rental studio for professional productions. These rentals may, at times, impact the classes included in the weekly training schedule (Stunt Sunday, Movement Monday, Weapon Wednesday and Fighting Friday). Please check your email for information about weekly scheduled class cancellations or time changes.

Payments

To officially sign up for an intensive or seminar you can visit our website or we can register you over the phone. We require a full payment to register for any of our classes. We accept all major debit/credit cards. Once you have placed your registration order, the responsibility to know which seminars you are registered for is yours.

The classes included in our “weekly class training schedule” include Stunt Sunday, Movement Monday, Weapon Wednesday and Fighting Friday. A daily pass (which includes the class of the day and open training time) is $15. The drop-in rate for a session of open training (without the class) is $10. We also offer a 10-day pass for $100 which includes 10 classes and open training sessions. These classes must be used within 90 days of purchasing the 10-day pass, and are ONLY eligible to be used on Stunt Sunday, Movement Monday, Weapon Wednesday and Fighting Friday. Invite-only training, seminars, intensives, and reel building services are not included.

Lateness policy

Please note that we have a very strict lateness policy and we ask everyone to be on time for class. Being on time is in your best interest especially when you are working with industry professionals. If you’re running late or can’t make it to the class please notify us ahead of time. We understand that sometimes circumstances beyond your control can delay your arrival, however please understand that we must stick to our class schedule in-order-to be fair to all of our students and teachers.

Training Footage Policy

For many of our on-camera classes, we record your on-camera work and then, as a courtesy, send it to you via an online platform within a 2-Week period following the class for you to download. This download is only available for 7 days. Due to the occasional technical error, we cannot guarantee the availability of all video clips. Therefore, we offer the ability to view and download online strictly as a courtesy.

Press Release

Once video and photo release forms have been signed, The Action Collective reserves the right to use photographs and videos of all attendees for marketing purposes of the studio.

Right of Refusal of Services

Under the federal anti-discrimination law, we reserve the right to refuse services to anyone for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, safety concerns for you or other students based on your participation, as well as breaches in contract of our conduct agreement form. If we find you pose a threat to the safety of yourself or those around you, or you fail to maintain standards of the conduct agreement form, you will be asked to leave without refund.

If you are found to be intoxicated during training, sexually exploitative of any other participants or instructors, disrespectful of studio property, or are otherwise creating an unsafe environment for those around you you will be asked to leave and will surrender any future payments made to upcoming sessions or seminars. This includes surrendering classes remaining on 10-day passes.
