Filming Action with Nathan Moore

Agenda: 

DAY 1 (Saturday): Filming Action Intro

• Nate will be teaching foundational filming techniques that make action sequences stand out, including how to keep an audience engaged using camera movement, framing, lighting, and much more.
• Learn to develop a shot list.

DAY 2 (Sunday): Choreography & Filming

• Learn to perform simple action sequences (and more about designing action for film by taking part in the choreography process).
• Then, Nate will guide you through the practice of filming the scene!

The goal of the workshop is to help you get guided hands-on experience with various filming styles, and develop problem-solving skills to improve the scene -helping you become a better performer AND cinematographer in the process.
