Training Days: September 30-October 3 (Monday-Thursday): 9:30am-4:30pm
Filming Day: October 4 (Friday) 9am – 7pm
Cost: $1000
Action for Actors is a dynamic 5-day intensive designed to equip actors with the necessary skills to excel in action scenes. Participants will train the stunt skills that an actor would be asked to do on set. The week ends in a final day of filming, so that participants leave with professionally-shot action scenes specifically designed to show off the performer’s strengths.
Course structure:
Day 1-3: Skill development and training
- Students will train fight choreography, falling techniques, obstacle training, creature movement, weapon safety, and gain comfortability performing while riding a wire.
Day 4: Rehearsal for Camera
- Students will use the skills they have been developing in action scenes – tailored to show off physical acting and performance ability.
Day 5: Final filming day
- Scenes will be professionally shot and colored before being distributed to participants.
- Files will be delivered via Google Drive after completion and will take approximately 4-6 weeks.
- Full editing services are available for an additional fee.
